VISION
Our Story
At Maple Ave we believe in the power of the church, and the power of Kingdom leaders to make a significant impact on the world around them. This started from personal experiences that left the founder asking the question, "why do people we know love Jesus and love others not take Jesus or others into account in their leadership?" What we found was there are a variety of beliefs we all carry with us that affect what we do, and what we are willing to do.
If we take you on as a client we will call you to postures of courage, curiosity, and conviction that will push against your Genesis 3 self-preservative muscle memory. A core belief for us is:​

We Go Where We Look
In the same way that "context" is King to interpreting the text, Vision is King as the context for what we are attempting to do with our lives. Many of us use the word vision when we mean repetition- our vision for this year is much the same as it was last year and the year before. Vision, real vision, acknowledges God's authority and sovereignty, and also acknowledges the Genesis 2 reality of Adam using his skill and capacity to co-create by naming the animals. It is highly probably your vision is too small for the capacity that is inherent in God, in you, and in those He has placed around you.

Meta Performance Coaching is about helping you expand your vision and then pursue that vision through the beliefs and behaviors that are most likely to drive the results you are aiming for. As a Kingdom leader your "enoughness" is already solidified. Like Jesus, whose ministry derives from God's declaration at his baptism, "this is my son in whom I am well pleased", Kingdom leaders are freed to acts, behaviors, of meaning and value. What Vision do you have? What belief is needed to pursue this vision? What behavior does this belief demand? What result did these beliefs and behaviors produce?

Each time you surprise yourself with a new leadership win, a new response to disappointment, a new big win, our vision about what is possible expands and we get to go again. Think of it it this way- If God is infinite and we are made in His image, than for eternity we will be learning about Him which in turn means we will also be learning about ourselves, forever. WE will be growing in our capacity without end, as He is without end. What we are doing here is simply growing our capacity and getting reps for the future!
